Duties & Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for the Service department. Responsible to field internal and external customer inquiries for the Service Department.
  • Schedule appointments and give price estimates to customers.
  • Create work orders based on repairs and maintenance to be completed on the truck.
  • Answer customer questions and inquiries, both in person and over the phone.
  • Work closely with the shop supervisors to coordinate workflow in the shop, which includes planning shop capacity.
  • Coordinate offsite vendor repairs and communicate to the dispatch team.
  • Maintains Service Department filing and records.
  • Assist with closing work orders when all repairs are complete.
  • Updates customer profiles using equipment, hours, or other information from the customer work orders.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous work experience in a Service department.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office products.
  • Knowledge of truck/equipment is an asset.
  • Ability to self-manage and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and customer service skills.

Experience:

  • Customer service: 2 years (required)
  • Automotive repair shop: 1 year (preferred)

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

Due to continued success and growth, we are looking to add a Truck and Coach Technician (310T) to join our team in Peter’s Corners, Hamilton This is a full-time career opportunity reporting directly to the Fleet Manager.

· Perform preventative and necessary maintenance, repairs, and inspections on truck fleet

· Troubleshooting and diagnosing fleet issues

· Adhere to safety policies and standards

· Work with Truck and Coach apprentice

· Attend monthly safety meetings

· Attend, comply, and complete any necessary training

· Other duties as required

WHO YOU ARE?

· Licensed and certified as a Truck and Coach Technician (310T)

· Previous experience in a similar role

· Proven leadership skills

· Team player, safe, and professional

· Experience working with hydraulics
